GREEN LAKE, Wis. -- The organization that governs high school sports in Wisconsin won't force students to keep their shirts on.The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association met on Thursday, in part to discuss a committee recommendation to prevent bare-chested fans from attending events. The Board of Control overturned the recommendation, which was put forth last month by the Sportsmanship Committee.Committee members had argued that being shirtless had nothing to do with sporting events. They also said body paint sometimes caused damage when it dripped onto cloth seats. The board also voted to allow basketball teams to play 22 regular-season games as long as every game is in Wisconsin or a bordering state. The current maximum is 20 games.
