Carolyn Biddy Martin is introducing herself to some new students at Ogg Hall.

It is the newest residence hall with 600 beds and on-site classrooms.

Mostly freshman and sophomores live in the new building.

"I'm trying to get some pointers on moving in and how to un-pack since I'm barely unpacked myself," said Martin.

Martin officially starts Monday. Before taking the position at UW, she worked as provost at Cornell University.
