MADISON, Wis. -- Sunday service was held in the new, greener portion of a historic Madison church.Members of the First Unitarian Society toured the completed building that is now equipped with a geothermal system and green roof."This is sedum plants and they're just kind of miraculous plants, they will hold rain water when it falls and keep it from running. If it does run off, it will go into these places here that we have built to infiltrate the water into the ground water supply," said member Brian Joiner. The features are expected to save 40 percent in energy costs and 30 percent in water costs.
