March 2004 Hometown Hero: Denman Kramer

Denman Kramer spreads joy wherever he goes. If you've visited a restaurant or supermarket in the Sauk Prairie area over the past 30 years, you may have seen Denman, a retiree of Alliant Energy;s WP&L subsidiary, twisting balloon animals for all the kids in sight. He always leaves home with his balloon supplies, never wanting to miss an opportunity to make a kid-and adults-smile. The people of Sauk Prairie call him "Dynamo the Clown." We call him a Hometown Hero.

We all have that energy that can make a difference. The personal energy of volunteering touches lives and enriches our communities.
