Organizations, Colleges Working On Environmental Plans
Edgewood College Is Taking Part In Initiative

MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin Association of Independent Colleges and Universities is partnering with the Department of Natural Resources and the Environmental Protection Agency to launch a voluntary environmental health and safety inspections on campuses.
VIDEO: Watch The ReportLocally, Edgewood College is part of the group and although it currently uses solar power for a dorm and utilizes rain gardens to minimize water run off, they want to stay environmentally friendly.The plan stresses voluntary compliance which includes indentifying the problems and promptly correcting any violations.
