MADISON, Wis. -- As emergency crews continue to comb through what is left of a Minneapolis interstate bridge that collapsed Wednesday, some Wisconsin Salvation Army workers are on hand to help.Three emergency disaster vehicles are stationed near the collapsed bridge to feed emergency personnel. Survivors and family members are also receiving emotional aid from the crews, WISC-TV reported.Local chapter members said that the tragedy really hits close to home."All the people who are up there working have been across that bridge, and it's one of those instances that by the grace of God it could have been me. And just to think about the families and those 60 children on that bus really can give you the chills to think about what could have happened," said Ruth Schoer of the Dane County Salvation Army. Those who would like to make a donation to the Minneapolis division of the Salvation Army can call 800-SAL-ARMY.
