Edgerton Bridge To Be Inspected On Wednesday

EDGERTON, Wis. -- State inspectors will examine the Highway 51 bridge that crosses the Rock River just south of Edgerton.

State officials ordered inspections of 16 truss bridges similar to the one that collapsed in Minnesota, WISC-TV reported.

The inspection starts Wednesday at 9 a.m. One lane of traffic will be closed in each direction, officials said.

The inspection should take three to four hours, WISC-TV reported.
