Second-Shift Workers To Return To Jobs

JANESVILLE, Wis. -- General Motors officials are reporting more layoffs, including some at Janesville's plant.Workers on first shift at the Janesville facility will be off next week, but second-shift workers, who had been laid off this week, will be back to work, WISC-TV reported.Plant officials said that they simply don't have enough parts available with the American Axle strike unresolved.
