JANESVILLE, Wis. -- After more than a week of flooding area residents, the Rock River is finally recedingThe news that the river crested on Sunday is a relief for residents in Rock County, WISC-TV reported.Authorities said the river had now begun to slowly drop.The Wisconsin National Guard has pulled out of the area. They had been helping with checkpoints and traffic control in flooded areas.
