MONONA, Wis. -- The ongoing Brett Favre drama has football fans talking.

In Monona, there is a house on Nichols Road that is hard to miss.

"We've actually gotten mail delivered to our house with 'Packer House, Monona, Wisconsin,' and it's usually people wanting to know who did the sign and how they can get one themselves," said homeowner Elliot Smith.

Smith admitted he did not paint the Green Bay logo onto his garage door. It was painted by the previous owner.

"The former owner was a big Packer fan," said Smith.

He said that by the time he bought the home it was a neighborhood icon.

"The way I guess I look at it is, if we take it down, we're going to offend some people," said Smith.

Smith admitted he's not a hard-core Packer-backer but said he would like to see famous No. 4 back on the field.

"I would like to see another year of Brett," said Smith.

Further down the road, Kim Miller said she feels the same way.

"I'd like to see him play again. But if we end up trading him, I'm a Green Bay fan No. 1, and I will continue to support the team," said Miller.

Miller told WISC-TV that watching the Packers play is in her blood.

Her parents experienced the Ice Bowl firsthand in the bitterly cold stands at Lambeau Field.

"I do think it's been unfortunate the way it's come out," said Miller. "They'll make a decent decision. It's not going to be pretty either way. I think its going to be difficult for both sides."
