Charges Could Come Soon In Border Shooting
3 Teens Killed Near Menominee River

MARINETTE, Wis. -- Charges could be filed Wednesday in the shooting rampage on the Wisconsin-Michigan border that left three teens dead and one man injured.Marinette County District Attorney Brent DeBord has scheduled a news conference for 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.Marinette County Sheriff Jim Kanikula said he talked to DeBord on Tuesday and was told charges could be filed Wednesday. DeBord has not been available to comment Wednesday.Kanikula said he expects at least two charges of first-degree intentional homicide to be filed against Scott J. Johnson, 38, of Kingsford, Mich., in the deaths of two teens found on the Wisconsin side of the Menominee River.He said he is not sure where charges will be filed regarding victims found in Michigan. A fourth victim suffered a minor shrapnel injury.Police said they believe Johnson stepped out of the woods on Thursday and gunned down Tiffany Pohlson, 17, Anthony Spigarelli, 18, and Bryan Mort, 19. All three teens were from Michigan. Police said Johnson surrendered Friday morning after an all-night manhunt.
