MADISON, Wis. -- States around the country are banning text messaging while driving but some are considering taking the ban further.There's no law against texting while walking, but after a man was killed in a crosswalk while text messaging , the Illinois General Assembly is considering a ban on using wireless devices in crosswalks.Four states have laws against texting and driving. In the U.S., more than 360 billion text messages are sent each year, WISC-TV reported.
