Robbery Suspect Makes Court Appearance

Banwell Facing Numerous Charges

MADISON, Wis. -- The 38-year-old Verona man suspected to be connected to 10 area robberies made a court appearance on Thursday.

Huk Banwell is being held on $5,000 for each count.

He also is facing a charge of strangulation and a misdemeanor theft charge, WISC-TV reported.

Illinois authorities also are investigating a link to robberies in that state.
