Thelen Guilty On Four Counts

MADISON, Wis. -- A Richland Center man has been found guilty by a jury in the stabbing death of a family pet in January of last year.Thomas Thelen faced four counts -- including a felony count of mistreatment of animals causing death.It stems from the stabbing death of Rebecca Farrell's 5-year-old Labrador "Buddy" in her front yard. The jury found him guilty on all four counts after a three-day trial.A sentencing date has not yet been set.
