Men Arrested On OWI Charges
Arrests Were Made Thursday

MADISON, Wis. -- Two men were arrested on Thursday on charges of operating while intoxicated.Early Thursday evening, Dane County sheriff’s deputies were called to a residence on Manley Drive in the town of Sun Prairie on a report of an intoxicated female. After taking the 43-year-old woman to St. Mary’s Hospital for a medical clearance, she was transported to detox.At approximately 8:35 pm, deputies were called to the same address a second time.According to a Dane County Sheriff's Department news release, a 47-year-old woman from Sun Prairie had come to the home looking for her estranged husband, Michael R. Hartman, 48, after she saw her damaged vehicle in the driveway. The woman was met at the door by Randall C. Endres, 38, who allegedly punched her in the face through the screen door. Endres and Hartman then left the residence and drove to St. Mary’s Hospital to check on the woman who had been transported by deputies earlier in the evening.Authorities said that upon arrival at the hospital, Endres was arrested.Endres was arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated - fifth offense, battery, disorderly conduct, and operating after revocation. He is currently being held in the Dane County Jail.Dane County Deputies contacted the Wisconsin State Patrol, who arrested Hartman on charges operating while intoxicated – fourth offense, hit and run, and resisting, as a result of allegedly crashing his wife’s car on the Interstate earlier in the evening. Hartman was also booked into the Dane County Jail.
