Feingold Reacts To Another Bad Day On Wall Street
Senator Voted Against Bailout Plan

MADISON, Wis. -- Sen. Russ Feingold, a Wisconsin Democrat, who voted against the $750 billion bailout plan, reacted on Tuesday to another bad day on Wall Street, as the Dow fell 500 points.
VIDEO: Watch The Report"But the problem is you have got to get the root causes of this and it has to do with the housing market and a whole range of other problems that weren't dealt with in the bill including leveraging, derivatives, these things weren't dealt with. That's one of the reasons I didn't vote for it," said Feingold.Feingold said he knows this is a lot for the American people to bear and hopes Washington will be awakened and provide new safeguards.
