TOWN OF MADISON, Wis. -- Town of Madison police are searching for a 24-year-old man in connection with a shooting on Thursday night.

A woman was wounded in the leg at the Alhambra apartment complex on Madison's West Side, near the Beltline.

Police said the woman has non-life-threatening injuries and that she was not the intended victim in the shooting. Police said the intended victim was not hurt and is safe.

Authorities are looking for Robert Echols, who is described as a black man, about 6-foot-1 inch tall and weighs about 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt with a photo and the words "R.I.P Kuz."
